JEDCO, the Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission, will open the new, state of the art Churchill Technology & Business Park on April 1. The center will support early-stage growth businesses with an incubator program and is located in Jefferson Parish, only a few minutes to downtown New Orleans.
“The Business Innovation Center is much more than a facility,” said JEDCO Executive Director Lucien Gunter. “It is an integrated program designed to connect entrepreneurs with the resources they need to grow and prosper.” The center is built on 40 acres, with another 460 planned. Target industries include Creative Media & Design, Health Services, Higher Education, Energy, Petrochemicals, & Plastics, International Trade, Logistics & Distribution, and Defense & Transportation Manufacturing.
