The Visual Communications Industry Group (VCI-Group) is hosting their second annual conference at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel in October.
VCI-Group is an independent organization focused on developing Industry-based standards for multimedia collaboration technologies and applications, improving industry products and services, and connecting professionals within the visual communications industry. The feature sessions for the conference include experts from AVI-SPL, BT Conferencing, Cisco Systems, Hewlett Packard Company, LifeSize, a Division of Logitech and Polycom, Inc.
Session topics include:
- Skype and the future of enterprise video conferencing
- How to use interactive video equipment for more than just a meeting
- Stroke of genius: better clinical decisions through innovative communication
In addition to panels, conference sessions and keynotes, the conference will include four special interest group meetings covering distance learning, healthcare, enterprise, and technical/engineering topics.
