Launch Pad Ignition is preparing to open applications for their 2012 class. Interested start-up founders and the public are invited to an information session on Tuesday, December 6th, 2011 from 5:30 – 7:00 pm.

This will be the second year of Launch Pad Ignition, a member of the TechStars Accelerator network founded by Chris Schultz, Peter Bodenheimer, and Barre Tanguis. The 2011 class included six companies: Liveset, Kinio, Badger, Game Builder Studio, Rayku, and Dydra.

Start-ups selected to be a part of the program receive co-working space at Launch Pad, access to a large network of mentors, and pitch their companies in front of a wide audience of investors during Launch Fest in the spring.

Applications for the 2012 class will be accepted from December 15th, 2011 through January 15th, 2012. The class will be announced on February 1st and the program officially kicks off on February 13th, 2012.

Keep up with the overall progress of Ignition on their AngelList page or follow @lpignition on twitter. We’ll see you at the info session on December 6th!
