From 3:00 to 5:00 pm this afternoon, the Idea Village’s IDEAinstitute is hosting its kick off event So You Want to be an Entrepreneur. Now What? Wednesdays, starting today, the IDEAinstitute will be holding weekly sessions to prepare soon-to-be entrepreneurs and innovators for the road ahead.

The Idea Village’s website explains the event further, saying, ”choosing to be an entrepreneur is a journey, not a destination. The path often contains as much failure as success, with tough decisions, tough budgeting, tough relationships, tough customers… the list goes on.”

This event features three successful New Orleans-based entrepreneurs Kenneth Purcell, Founder and CEO of iSeatzNic Perkin, Co-founder and President of The Receivables Exchange, and Lauren Thom, Founder of Fleurty Girl. They will talk about how they found their success and the lessons the learned along the way.

Register for this event.
