When Jordan Riggs was having trouble keeping track of the sports schedules of his six kids, he set out to find a mobile app to organize it all. SchoolInfoApp is the only free and customized mobile app provider for K-12 schools and districts. It enables parents, students, alumni, faculty and staff to access all of the “who, what, when and where” of a specific school. The company is based in Ruston, LA and already services seven schools in Louisiana in addition to dozens more across the country and one halfway around the world in Croatia.
As the SchoolInfoApp website states, they build great apps for great schools. Schools can send any and all documents they want in the app over for processing then the company handles the content management, updating the school’s content when necessary. The apps built are equipped with push notifications, calendars, faculty and staff contact information, directions, picture galleries, links to online grade book systems and more.
