Inaugural Mini Maker Faire Arrives April 5th

Maker FaireMakers, crafters and performers are invited to apply to the first-ever New Orleans Mini Maker Faire, scheduled for April 5th, 2014. The event is aimed at entertaining, informing, connecting and growing the local community.

“Make, create, craft, recycle, build, think, play and be inspired by celebrating arts, crafts, engineering, food, music, science and technology.”

The original Maker Faire was held nearly a decade ago in San Mateo, California. The most recent annual event attracted around 900 makers and 120,000 attendees. World Maker Faire, held in New York, is a second flagship event that has grown over the last four years.
