The Idea Village team has announced that its 2015 Entrepreneur Season launches on Monday, July 28thThe 2015 Season will culminate in the 7th annual New Orleans Entrepreneur Week, March 2027, 2015and this year, NOEW will be headquartered on Fulton Street all week.

New Orleans Women in Technology and 365 Connect Team Up to Bring QA Bootcamp to New Orleans

New Orleans Women in Technology (WIT), a local professional organization focused on increasing the number of women in technology careers in New Orleans, announced earlier this week that it will bring together employees from companies across the city for a free 1-day Bootcamp on Software Quality Assurance (QA). The QA Bootcamp will be taking place on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Propeller Incubator in New Orleans.

Indie Game Studio Jetstreame Releases New Game on Google and Amazon

Jetstreame announced late last week that its latest game, Star Shapers, is now available on Google Play and for download on Amazon. Versions for iOS and Windows 8 will follow in the coming months. Jetstreame is an indie mobile game studio in Baton Rouge that develops games for iOS, Android, Blackberry and Windows, and specializes in video game development, interactive media and 3D animation.

New Orleans Startup Clinicate Launches Clinical File-Sharing Platform

Clinicate, a new clinical file-sharing platform based out of the New Orleans BioInnovation Center, launched at The Open Forum in New York on July 11th. The Open Forum is an annual event for ear, nose, and throat specialists and other providers focused on exploring new technologies and their immediate clinical applications. The digital health platform is available for immediate use on the web and on iOS and Android mobile devices.

July Net2NO Recap: New Media Panel and Announcements

Net2NO, the fourth largest Net2Local meetup group in the world, has grown from 30 members to now over 1,100 people since 2008.
