Come Home, Louisiana is an initiative by Louisiana Economic Development that celebrates the state’s unique blend of economic growth, cultural diversity and quality of life.
The initiative encourages expats to move back to Louisiana for the available job opportunities, which can be found and filled on behalf of with the help of LouisianaJobConnection.com, a brand new website designed to meet the talent recruitment needs of Louisiana employers.
Come Home, Louisiana also encourages former residents to “come home to live” and “come home to play,” in addition to entering the state’s professional workforce.
The website offers a deeper look into some of the stories of those who have come back to Louisiana.
A campaign representative explains “Come Home, Louisiana is a campaign of pride, interest and enthusiasm for the state of Louisiana, supporting the growth and economic health of our state.”
Since October 6th, the initiative had over 22,000 followers on Facebook alone.
