“We’re excited to bring Tech Talent South’s coding academy to New Orleanians.” said Propeller Executive Director Andrea Chen. “Providing professional development opportunities for entrepreneurs and community members alike not only opens doors for those individuals, but also contributes to the growth of an entire emerging industry, with the potential to create even more jobs in the future.”

With locations already established in Raleigh, Asheville, Charlotte and Atlanta, Tech Talent South boasts a boot camp for beginners that will give any eager, dedicated individual accelerated exposure to programming and web design.

As a home for Tech Talent South programs, Propeller will host Full-Time and Part-Time immersion programs through March 20th focused on web development and computer programming, including programming languages like Ruby on Rails, Javascript and AJAX, and HTML/CSS, as well as domain modeling for database-backed web applications, HTTP and “RESTful” design, and an in-depth look at APIs.

“We’re just really thrilled about the unique energy that Propeller ignites throughout its space,” said Tech Talent South Community Organizer Laura White. “We wanted to be surrounded by a hub of innovators- people thinking outside the box- that were coming together and doing big things, making real progress in bettering the community around them.”
