Alcohol Delivery Startup Launches in New Orleans

On demand picnics. On demand rides. Now New Orleanians have the option to request on demand alcohol delivery through Drizly, a technology startup already launched in a number of other markets throughout the country.

DrizlyDrizly has partnered with Brady’s Wine Warehouse and Pearl Wine Co. to deliver beer, wine and spirits to consumers in under an hour through the app or Drizly.com. The company hopes app users will find their shopping experiences informative, customized and fun.

“Our expansion in New Orleans, while being the first company to introduce on-demand alcohol delivery in this market, continues to strengthen our position as a leader in the industry,” noted Nick Rellas, CEO and co-founder of Drizly. “We’re looking forward to serving the city of New Orleans and hope our consumers enjoy the speed and convenience of having alcohol delivered directly to their doorstep.”

Drizly is available in the French Quarter, Treme, the Garden District, Metairie, Mid-City, Gentilly, Audubon, Elmwood, and Gretna.

The company has raised $17.8 million to date and is operational in Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Minneapolis/St. Paul, New York City, Providence, Seattle, St. Louis, and Washington D.C.

New Orleans customers will get $15 off all first time orders with the promo code NOLA15 through the end of July.
