The Baton Rouge chapter is part of 99U Local, a world-wide series of events for anyone in creative careers looking to make ideas happen.

This is the first time 99U is spreading its influence across cities worldwide–27 in addition to Baton Rouge–that express creativity and passion for innovation.

“At 99U, we don’t want to give you more ideas—we want to empower you to make good on the ones you’ve got. Join us for an evening celebrating the creativity of Louisiana through food, drinks, networking, and inspiring speakers,” explains organizer Kenny Nguyen, founder and CEO of Big Fish Presentations.

The event will host speakers including: Rodney Richardson, founder of RARE Design; Sean Rivera, chef and food personality behind Foodie Patutie; Alejandra Juan, executive director of the USS Kidd; John Gray, local musician and music educator; and Drew Reilley, creative director and owner of Slash.

Admission is free but seating is limited. To RSVP, email batonrouge.99ulocal.com.
