New Orleans Company Cleargistix Turns 5, Plans to Reveal New Product at NOEW

Cleargistix (formerly NecesSea) is a New Orleans-based company that connects the field to the office, delivering an efficient and cost effective digital system for recording field or vessel activities.  Their digital platform is designed for on and offshore oil and gas service companies.

CleargistixOver the last five years, the company has transitioned to working with the entire oil and gas services industry. “When we started four years ago, our primary focus was on the marine industry, hence the name NecesSea,” said Jennifer Comeaux, VP of Solutions.

To celebrate the milestone, Cleargistix will be unveiling a brand new product during New Orleans Entrepreneur Week (NOEW).

Cleargistix has also been selected to participate in the Silicon Bayou Startup Showcase slated for later today from 5:00 to 7:00pm at The Chicory, the hub of NOEW.

“Our company is very unique in that we have been in business five years, which gives us great experience and credibility in the marketplace,” said President & CEO Steven Toups. “At the same time, we’ve been impacted by the downturn in the oil & gas industry as have most companies, so in many ways we are in startup mode. One could say that we are a ‘restart-up’.”

The company recently released CleargistixMarine v5.0 in December 2015 with a follow-up release of Cleargistix Tug, Tow & Barge aimed at offshore marine companies.
