The mission of New Orleans-based Get Online NOLA is to help businesses gain visibility, primarily through web design. They regularly offer workshops to teach business owners about WordPress and other valuable tools.
Get Online NOLA is hosting the next WordPress workshop the morning of Wednesday, February 8 at Delgado’s Small Business Center in New Orleans.
While the workshop is more tailored to beginners, the event caters to more experienced users as well. Those who have an existing website, content or theme are welcome to bring them along to the workshop.
The workshop will cover site map planning, adding pages and blog posts, choosing a theme and getting sites to look like the demos, plugins, short codes, widgets, SEO best practices, and more.
Organizers are also offering a bonus: each attendees will be going home with their own subdomain that can be transferred to their own domain at any point.
