Online Voting Now Open for The Big Idea

Each year New Orleans Entrepreneur Week (NOEW) culminates at The Big Idea, a crowd-driven pitch competition with major cash up for grabs.

Through a nola.com poll, the community can now vote for their favorite startups out of 20 semi-finalists to make it to The Big Idea. The 10 companies to receive the most votes will move on to compete at The Big Idea. Click here to vote for your favorite.

“Using voting chips, you’ll invest in your favorite of the featured startups as you experience the entrepreneurial movement firsthand,” explains NOEW. “Chips are just $25 – and this year there is no limit on the number of chips you can purchase. The chips represent real money so the entrepreneurs take home the cash value of chips received.”

The main event on March 24 will feature 10 startups who then will be narrowed down by a crowd vote to three and will pitch for the grand prize of $25,000.
