Each year, Inc. compiles a list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, the Inc. 5000.
“The fastest-growing private firms in America are creators,” shared Inc. “They create companies, they create value, and they create jobs–619,631 of them over the last three years.” Inc. also said the list is a way to discover the newest hot spots, the coolest products, and the people who make it all happen.
On the list is 47 Louisiana companies in industries ranging from software and IT services to advertising and marketing.
Construction company Jet Concrete Services ranked 178 overall and tops the list of Louisiana companies. Education technology startup MasteryPrep and New Orleans-based software development firm Revelry also hover near the top of the state’s list, ranking 275 and 375 respectively.
The companies on the Inc. 5000 list are considered in terms of both annual growth and revenue. ContentBloom, a New Orleans media company with team members all over the world, brought in $4 million and grew 115.29% to make the list at ranking number 2929. This quarter alone they have won new accounts with companies such as Netgear and Yale University.
