The Idea Village Adds Nine New Board Members

The Idea Village is a New Orleans-based organization that provides support to entrepreneurs in the city through its accelerator, community programming, and producing New Orleans Entrepreneur Week.

The non-profit has announced the addition of nine new members to its Board of Directors, including several tech entrepreneurs.

“We are honored to have this group join The Idea Village Board of Directors,” said Patrick Comer, Founder and CEO of Lucid and The Idea Village Board Vice-Chairman. “Each person brings a unique entrepreneurial perspective to the table ensuring local entrepreneurs benefit greatly from their experience and knowledge.”

The newly elected members include: David Barksdale, Managing Director, Alluvian Capital; Lauren Baum, Made with Code Program Lead, Google; Pres Kabacoff, Executive Chairman of the Board, HRI Properties; Cooper Manning, Principal, AJ Capital Partners; Jen Medbery, Founder, Kickboard; Matt Schwartz, Principal, The Domain Companies; Allen Square, Chief Executive Officer, Square Button; Jose Suquet, President and Chief Executive Officer, Pan American Life; and Marianne Van Meter, Founder and Managing Director of Legacy Capital, to its Board of Directors.
