Five-year old tech company Align Today, which provides cloud-based business planning software, has a brand new CEO. Doug Walner has joined the Align team and will grow the Tennessee-based business from his home in New Orleans.
Align was founded by Andy Bailey, CEO of Petra Coach and Amith Nagarajan, former CEO of Aptify and current CEO of rasa.io, a New Orleans-based tech company. Walner is stepped into Bailey’s former role.
Walner was previously the Chief Commercial Officer of Row 44, Inc/Global Eagle Entertainment, which provides satellite-based WiFi and in-flight entertainment.
“I couldn’t be more excited to lead this effort,” shared Walner. “Having built and managed organizations through a business scaling process, I have had a great deal of first hand experience in setting business strategy, developing goals and executing against objectives.”
