Covington-Based Watch Systems Announces New CEO

Watch Systems is the creator of OffenderWatch, the largest sex offender registry in the country, which partners with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to manage the registries and provide notifications across communities. Ben Luzynski has been named the company’s new CEO.

Luzynski was the former Executive Vice President of Watch Systems and OffenderWatch and has been with the company for 15 years.

“It has been an honor leading Watch Systems and our OffenderWatch product for more than 15 years, as we help law enforcement around the country better manage sex offenders and keep the public safe,” said Lou Luzynski, former CEO of Watch Systems. “I am confident that under the leadership of my son, Ben, our team will help close the gap in data and communication silos currently found across local, state and federal law enforcement agencies when monitoring and alerting on registered sex offenders.”

Watch Systems has created a Safe Virtual Neighborhood, a patent-pending technology that uses the company’s database of registered offenders to track online behavior. The platform then notifies parents if any communication between the offender and their child occurs through texts, emails, social media, and online gaming systems.
