New Orleans Entrepreneur Week Features Headliners From Tesla, GE Digital

New Orleans Entrepreneur Week (NOEW) is the annual weeklong celebration of business, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the Crescent City. The 10th annual NOEW will run March 19-23, 2018.

“This year marks an exciting benchmark for The Idea Village and the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem. NOEW has become a hallmark event for our community. It’s the place where dreams are seeded, companies are funded, and our collective successes are celebrated,” said Victoria Adams Phipps, NOEW’s Executive Producer. Phipps works for The Idea Village, an entrepreneurial support organization that produces NOEW alongside The Solomon Group.

The first few days of NOEW will be packed with pitch competitions and other events hosted by The Idea Village and partner organizations such as Tulane, the Junior League of Greater New Orleans, Propeller, and the Downtown Development District. Highlights include the Women in Business Challenge, the Tulane Business Model Competition, the Water Challenge, and many more.

The NOEW Summit kicks off on Thursday with opening remarks followed by a startup showcase and several speakers and panels focused on entrepreneurship, technology, diversity, and more. The Summit will be held at the Contemporary Arts Center at The Shop shared workspace and runs through the closing party on Friday evening.

Confirmed headliners include: Jim Coulter, Founding Partner and Co-CEO at TPG Capital; Kevin Dawson, Vice President of GE Digital; Kevin Lin, Co-founder of Twitch; and  Gabrielle Toledano, Chief People Officer at Tesla. Organizers will be revealing additional speakers as NOEW gets closer.
