In 2016, New Orleans-tech company Computrols purchased and planned to move into the former Times-Picayune building in Gretna. On April 20, the company celebrated the grand opening of the new, 43,000 square foot tech center.
The company designs, manufactures and services state-of-the-art building automation systems throughout the U.S. and abroad. “Not only does this new space give Computrols the ability to expand, but it also includes a new training center,” shared the company. “Computrols holds monthly training courses for its distribution partners and customers where they learn how to effectively utilize Computrols Building Automation Software (CBAS) as well as Computrols’ access, lighting, HVAC, and fire alarm hardware.”
