Local Tech Company Relocates Headquarters in New Orleans

Kickboard is a web-based school analytics platform that combines powerful behavioral management and intervention technology with impactful leadership coaching. The company is nearly a decade old and has just relocated its corporate headquarters to 1824 Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard in Central City from its downtown office location.

The company’s mission is to build safe and happy schools where students and staff thrive. Kickboard has created a school culture system with features that help students stay engaged in the classroom.

“At Kickboard, we’re committed to making a difference in the lives of educators, students, and their families. Because we understand the impact a positive culture has on schools, we strive to build the same culture in our own work environment so each of us can thrive,” said Stefan Kohler, CEO of Kickboard.

Whestone Education and Leading Educators are other education-focused organizations in the same building now as Kickboard.

“Kickboard’s roots are in New Orleans and we love being part of the city’s thriving edtech community,” said Jennifer Medbery, founder and chief product officer of Kickboard. “We’re excited to move our corporate office to the O.C. Haley Boulevard corridor, where we’ll be part of the redevelopment of a great neighborhood commercial district.”

“Here in New Orleans, we know we’ll continue to attract exceptionally talented people to be part of our team because of the city’s rich culture and ongoing education innovation,” continued Kohler.
