New Orleans Startup Joins National Accelerator for Public Safety Entrepreneurs

Florida-based Responder Corp has partnered with Amazon Web Services to launch an accelerator program specifically designed for entrepreneurs solving the needs of first responders and the public safety industry.

ResponderXLabs is currently working with 13 startups, including New Orleans-based Ready Responders.

Ready Responders has a local team of medics who are dispatched when requested by a customer, immediately treating their medical needs, with an estimated arrival time of just 10 minutes. The company also has a network of physicians and nurse practitioners for any necessary follow up care.

Other public safety startups joining Ready Responders in the cohort include Twiage Medical, Hass Alert, 3AM Innovations, Callyo, RapidSOS, Qwake Technologies, Kiana Analytics, SceneDoc, Orion Labs, Kaseware, GroupDoList, and CloudStreet.

The cohort connects its entrepreneurs to corporate partners, local public safety agency buyers, federal resources, and more.

ResponderXLabs wants to level the playing field for public safety entrepreneurs to be judged by the merits of their technology rather than the logo on their website.

This program is specifically designed to enable forward thinking agencies, by connecting them with entrepreneurs and innovators, and streamlining the adoption of cutting-edge technology,” shared a local representative for Responder Corp.

Responder Corp not only runs the accelerator, but an entire platform for supporting innovation in the public safety industry. The comprehensive platform also includes a marketplace for development, investment capital for innovation, and a support network for entrepreneurs. To learn more visit respondercorp.com.
