Meet Louisiana’s Most Influential People in Tech and Entrepreneurship in 2018

The Silicon Bayou 100 is a list of one hundred most influential people in Louisiana’s startup scene over the last year compiled by the community through an anonymous nomination process.

After narrowing down the submissions, we compiled the top 100 names and revealed them at the Silicon Bayou 100 Release Party last night at The Drifter Hotel in New Orleans.

The event featured specialty cocktails, Southeast Asian food from Matchbook Kitchen, a keynote speech by Accruent’s Johnny Culpepper, and a few surprises.

As a special surprise, New Orleans music and tech entrepreneur Travis Laurendine brought out local legends and musical innovators Partners-N-Crime to entertain the crowd who were all dancing to bounce classics like “New Orleans Block Party” and “Shake It Like A Dog” as a preview of the upcoming N.O.I.S.E experience. N.O.I.S.E. stands for New Orleans Innovation, Sound & Entertainment and is happening during the days between the two weekends of Jazz Fest’s 50th Anniversary.

Thank you to our 2018 sponsors: 365 ConnectRagusa Consulting, and LA New Product Development Team for helping make the Release Party a success!
