Social Innovation Hub Propeller Welcomes New Leadership

New Orleans is home to an organization that exists to support entrepreneurs tackling social and environmental disparities throughout the city. Propeller recently announced two new additions to the leadership team, all who will help the non-profit continue to support the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The organization’s new Director of Programs is former New Orleans school administrator Krystal Hardy Allen, and its new Director of Entrepreneurship is Crystal McDonald, former CEO and founder of tech startup Acrew.

McDonald will oversee all of Propeller’s programs, including its Alumni Program, Social Venture Fund, Startup and Growth Accelerators, and PitchNOLA series.

“Allen oversees Propeller’s programmatic team, guides the organization’s policy and advocacy initiatives, and steers Propeller’s organizational strategy,” shared Propeller.

Propeller is gearing up to announce its 2019 programming. For more information, visit gopropeller.org.
