Propeller Seeks New Orleans Area Entrepreneurs for PitchNOLA Competition

Propeller is currently seeking applications for its annual pitch competition, PitchNOLA, from emerging and developing entrepreneurs in the New Orleans area who tackle local social and environmental disparities.

There are three separate pitches that will take place this spring with three focus areas: water, education, and health and food.

“The series is open to all entrepreneurs with nonprofit and for-profit ventures to address racial disparities in food, water, health, and education,” shared Propeller.

The Water Challenge presented by the Greater New Orleans Foundation will take place on April 3, the Education Challenge presented by Capital One will take place on April 17, and the Health & Food Challenge presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana will take place on May 1.

Ten thousands dollars in total prizes will be awarded at each of the pitch competitions.

Applications are due by February 18. To find out more about each pitch and eligibility requirements, visit gopropeller.org.
