In 2017, the first full service coworking space opened in New Orleans. Developed and manager by The Domain Companies, The Shop at the CAC became an anchor in the city’s Innovation Corridor in the upper floors of the Contemporary Arts Center.
The Domain Companies is known for unique, mixed-use properties in urban locations, and The Shop was their first venture into office space. The company is currently developing a project in Salt Lake City called The Exchange that once complete will encompass apartments, retail space, and the second location of The Shop.

In New Orleans, The Shop is the city’s largest co-working space, home to more than 300 members and over 100 businesses.
