Electric Girls is a New Orleans-based nonprofit that teaches young girls and women electronics and programming through fun and challenging audio technology projects.
The organization has announced their new executive director, Jillian Sandoval, who will begin her role on October 1. The Electric Girls board of directors unanimously appointed Sandoval to the position.
“I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to join Electric Girls, and am excited to get to know and strengthen relationships with the team, volunteers, board members, families, girls, and community partners,” shared Sandoval.
Sandoval was previously the executive director of Evacuteer.org.
“I could not be more proud to have been selected to lead and serve alongside the Electric Girls community, and I look forward to helping the organization to grow into the future.”
