The Lafayette Economic Development Authority and Opportunity Machine have partnered to launch Innovate South, a cross-industry innovation conference taking place during in Lafayette November 13-15 during National Entrepreneur Month.
The organizations are also partnered with Rally Marketing, Cox Business, and Downtown Lafayette Unlimited for the inaugural event.
Innovate South is hoping to fill the networking events, panel discussions, and keynote presentations with creatives, visionaries, forward-thinkers, and entrepreneurs.
“By bringing in entrepreneurs, innovators, investors, and community leaders from across the Gulf Coast, Innovate South will create a melting pot of ideas and peer-to-peer learning, which will establish an educational and social platform that supports the growth of the innovative and entrepreneurial culture in the Gulf Coast,” said Destin Ortego, Opportunity Machine’s Director.
