Chris Meaux Joins Relief Telemed as Senior Advisor

Relief Telemed is an on-demand telemedicine platform that remotely connects patients to health care providers from its headquarters in Baton Rouge’s Louisiana Technology Park.

The company, launched in 2017, raised $150,000 this past summer to continue to grow the business.

Chris Meaux, founder and former CEO of fast-growing food delivery startup Waitr, has recently joined Relief Telemed as its new Senior Advisor.

“Meaux’s decision to advise this particular company can not only be attributed to his relevant experience with on-demand platforms, but also his eye for ventures with opportunities to make a significant impact in their industries,” shared the Relief Telemed team.

“The company will also benefit from his understanding of growing startups to guide and advise the company on their path to rapid growth.”
