Job Description:
The Idea Village, a New Orleans-based non-profit that identifies, supports and retains entrepreneurial talent in the New Orleans region, is looking for an ace draft pick to be its technology platforms and online strategy guru. You will develop and manage the IV’s various technology needs, including integration of CRM, donor and event management databases; develop an innovative and game-changing online strategy that will enable The Idea Village to reach an entrepreneurial audience far beyond New Orleans and will manage the IT infrastructure in a creative, fast-paced, “startup” style office environment.Skillsets Required: – 2-3 years database administration – Windows XP server and desktop management and configuration – XP network environment – Microsoft Exchange configuration and administration – Website content management, hosting and maintenance – IP based phone and telephony integration experience – Website programming experience preferred – Salesforce configuration, administration, and maintenance preferred – Any software development experience preferred
Job Duties:
1. Database management:
a. Direct transition to integrated CRM, donor, and event management database
2. Online management:
a. Manage and update content management system for ideavillage.org and noew.org including website updates, newsletters, videos, blogs…etc.
b. Manage Idea Village’s social media infrastructure
3. Intranet management:
a. Create and maintain internal communications portal for all IV audiences
4. IT Infrastructure management:
a. Microsoft Exchange configuration and administration
b. XP Server configuration and management
c. Day-to-day technology troubleshooting (internet, phone, printer, etc.)
d. Software/hardware updates and purchases
