Tech Pointe at La. Tech Research Park Almost Complete

Louisiana Tech is nearing the completion of Tech Pointe, the first multi-tenant facility on its new Enterprise Campus.

Enterprise Campus is an addition to the main campus and will serve as a home for high-tech companies looking to use the intellectual and research strengths of the university.  Tech Pointe is a 42,000 s/f, multi-tenant facility designed to support the stringent demands of 24/7 high-tech companies.  All tenants are provided generator support for uninterrupted power and have access to Louisiana’s information superhighway, LONI, as well as the premier computational facilities of the Air Force Cyberspace Research Lab.  The building also includes conference room, meeting rooms, lounge, break room, an exercise facility and several other amenities for the incoming companies.

The school broke ground in Octover 2009 with $25 million from the state.

The Enterprise Campus also houses the new Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, which provides a flexible, technology-rich environment for aspiring startups and serves as the University’s central hub for the Center for Entrepreneurship and Information Technology’s (CEnIT) programs.
