The Louisiana Economic Development Association (LEDA) is enrolling young people ages 17-21 for a fall business camp as part of the Business Innovation Program. Students participating in the program will learn basic and intermediate business skills to prepare them for a fast-paced work environment and encourage future entrepreneurial endeavors.
The program was been developed in collaboration with business executives, consultants, entrepreneurs, technology professionals, educators, youth counselors and parents. According to LEDA materials, “The course that has emerged from this mastermind team will equip our sons and daughters with a working knowledge of the world of work, the economic system, domestic and global markets, career opportunities of the future, and entrepreneurship.”
