Last In Concepts Boasts 800 Employees and $30M in Sales

Jack Warner and Brandon Landry were students at LSU when they came up with the idea for their sports bar and restaurant Walk-Ons.  After getting a C+ for their business plan at LSU, the two found a great location near campus, hustled up $5,000, and opened up shop in 2003.

After success with Walk-Ons, the two entrepreneurs opened up the Roux House in 2005 and “killed it from day one”.  Six months later, they opened up another concept: Happys Irish Pub.  And after that followed pizza joint Schlitz and Giggles.

Last In Concepts, their corporate holding company, continued to expand in Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and eventually New Orleans, opening Walk-Ons and Happys on Poydras Street earlier this year.

They’ve done eight restaurants in eight years.  Warner and Landry now say their company has almost 800 employees in three cities and are on pace to gross $30 million this year.

WWLTV has a great interview with the two entrepreneurs, which you can view here.
