Baton Rouge has a lot going on these days in tech and entrepreneurship.  Here is a list of four upcoming events and deadlines that you won’t want to miss:

IGDA Baton RougeIGDA Baton Rouge Chapter Meeting – Wednesday, December 14, 2011, 8:00 p.m. |  Fox and Hound Restaurant, 5246 Corporate Blvd. Baton Rouge

The Baton Rouge chapter of the International Game Developers Assocation will hold its monthly meeting Wednesday, December 14 at Fox and Hound. Come hang with fellow game enthusiasts and have a great time. The Tech Park will be sponsoring food for this meeting. For more info, click here.

BRSocMe December Meeting – Thursday, December 15, 2011, 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. | Louisiana Technology Park, 7117 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge

BRSocMe will hold its December meeting at the Tech Park on Thursday, December 15 at noon. Non-members are welcome at this monthly meeting. They’ll be making a big announcement and talking about plans for 2012. For more info, click here.

Tech Park U Application Deadline – Friday, December 16, 2011

Friday is the application deadline for Louisiana Technology Park’s Tech Business bootcamp, Tech Park U.   Friday. Tech Park U gives promising technology entrepreneurs the education and facilities to jump-start their ideas into a business. The program lasts eight weeks and begins January 16. In its sixth year, the program has brought entrepreneurs from all over South Louisiana, including the greater Baton Rouge area as well as New Orleans and Mandeville. Notable Tech Park U graduates include current Tech Park members, Ultix Technologies and Cellcontrol.  The application is simple and can be filled out online. 3rd Annual SeNSE Holiday Social – Thursday, December 22, 2011, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. |The Office Bar, 421 Third Street, Downtown Baton Rouge

SeNSE, the hub for entrepreneurship in Baton Rouge is holding is holiday social on December 22 at 6 p.m., at the Office Bar in downtown Baton Rouge. The organization will also be accepting donations for a new Charter School that is starting in town. For more information, click here.
