Seven startups in the heart of New York City (Dispatch, Aviary, Yipit, Ordr.in, ChatID, and Tutorspree) have come together to found the Come Work in New York group.
The group is offering a cash bonus of $5000 for new employees to come work at any of the seven companies, a move meant to keep the appeal of working at a smaller company going while Facebook and Twitter begin building NYC offices. Each startup currently has 10 employees or less, so each new hire is a huge deal for the company.
