iOS App Workshop for Professionals
Location: Louisiana Technology Park, Baton Rouge
April 23-27, 2012 (8:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
The Louisiana Technology Park and LSU Center for Computation & Technology will host for the first time the iOS Application Workshop for Professionals, April 23-27, 2012 (5 day camp, Monday thru Friday) at the Louisiana Technology Park located at 7117 Florida Boulevard, Baton Rouge. This new educational experience offers professionals the opportunity to gain knowledge while enhancing their entrepreneurial spirit.
Participants will work hands-on in groups and will:
- be introduced to the Macintosh operating system, iOS software development kit, X codeG
- learn various iOS application development, processes and techniques
- test and improve upon their new developmental skills
- create an application that will be deployed on their own iPhones, iPods, or iPads
- be introduced to mobile applications’ business market, trends and opportunities.
(50% of the content is video-based.)
Taught by Geniusport, an experienced mobile technology training company, this iOS course has been designed to also include numerous tips, tricks and lessons learned to help new iPhone App Developers succeed.
Prerequisites: Entry-level programming experience and understanding of general computer use (PC, Linux or Mac); interest in learning & creating new technologies.
Registration and Cost: $1,500.00 per person. Participants should bring their own Mac laptop to class, as well as their iphone/ipod/ipad. Students are responsible for their own transportation, lodging, and meal costs. Registration is now open CLICK HERE!
Post-Camp Assistance: Geniusport will provide access to instructional materials for thirty (30) days after the workshop to participants.
Cancellation/Substitution Policy: Cancellations received and post-marked prior to April 2, 2012 will receive a full refund. After April 2, no refunds will be issued. Substitutions will be permitted!
