LSU’s Animation and Visual Effects Program Launches Digital Media Certificate

The Animation and Visual Effects program at Louisiana State University’s Shreveport location recently received funding to launch the Digital Media Certificate program. The year-long intensive program gives students training and rapid access to digital media careers through the 35 hour a week courses.

The program includes intensive classroom study, guided lab time and is project based. The capstone phase of the program is a professional group project executed with an industry advisor. Students leave the program with extensive training time in computer graphics applications and production and are prepared to enter the workforce with a quality portfolio.
