Applications Open for 13th SeNSE Pitch Night

SeNSE is hosting its 13th Pitch Night for entrepreneurs and business owners across Louisiana. Unlike the film industry pitch night  hosted in March, this event is calling for business plans of any and all types. The event will again be at the Manship Theatre at The Shaw Center from 6:00 to 8:30 pm.

The purpose of this event is to raise awareness and let local angel investors know that your business is seeking funding. All entrepreneurs will also receive feedback on pitches and business models. Business plans get an extra boost because this is an opportunity to receive free media and press attention.

Applications are due no later than May 11th, 2012. Applicants must submit contact information and business plan at sensebr.org and will be chosen based on completion of business plan and feasibility of successful business operations in a reasonable time period. Businesses will each have 10 minutes to pitch, then answer 3 questions from the audience and then gather feedback from the experts.

SeNSE is a forum for entrepreneurs, a shared resource where participants can make connections, share thoughts ideas and experiences and get pointed in the right direction for the resources they need. Since the launch event in 2009, SeNSE pitch events have grown to be bigger, better, and more helpful to entrepreneurs.
