Tomorrow, May 15th, from 11:30am-1:30pm, the Downtown Development District’s inaugural Downtown Awards will be taking place at the Sugar Mill New Orleans.
The Downtown Development District of New Orleans (DDD) has created the Downtown Awards as an annual program to recognize the accomplishments of Downtown NOLA property owners, businesses, residents, workers and organizations.
They aim to, “honor the people and places that inspire, innovate and integrate the Downtown NOLA brand into their Downtown neighborhoods.” Tickets are available for $40 a ticket or $360 for a table of 10. Sixty local people and businesses have been voted onto the list, including Chris Schultz of Launch Pad. A full list of nominees is now available.
