The 2012 Business Technology Expo will be held tomorrow, June 29th, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Bossier Civic Center. The Bossier Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Louisiana Technology Council for the event, which is the first of its kind in the area.
Many vendors have signed up for booths at Bizology: a techworx expo. They will be sharing information about their businesses and how they became successful in one way or another. Many of the companies will show off their cutting edge technology that could help make companies better. The networking event will be a way for members of the public and other attendees to get information about some of the leading technology companies and businesses in the area.
Bizology will first feature a Breakfast Panel called Power Breakfast. It will feature three confirmed speakers, including Matt Wallace, Vice President of Marketing and Products for Venyu, Czarina Walker, Founder and CEO of InfiniEDGE Software, and Donald M. Pierson, Jr. CEcD, Senior Director of Business Development for Louisiana Economic Development. So far, one of the topics will be discussing cloud computing and understanding your mobile customers, as well as strategies for mobile friendly websites. Vendor expos begin immediately following Power Breakfast, then then Bizology Lunch, or Tech Savvy Lunch, will be at 11:30 am featuring keynote speaker Clif Triplett. He’s Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Baker Hughes and will be discussing the topic: CIO Perspective of Today and Tomorrow.
