Shreveport-based technology solutions company Enterprise Computing Services (ECS) announced Friday it had merged with Trusted Data Solutions (TDS). TDS is known for data network design and implementation. Two years ago they expanded business to include web and Cloud services, physical security, and areas of network security.
TDS is also a Shreveport-based company. Their employees hold certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, Apple, EMC, and VMware. Ken McCoy, Owner of TDS, Ken McCoy, will now serve as Chief Technology Officer for ECS and will oversee the new implementation of services provided.
ECS provides solutions for for small to medium businesses, in addition to large corporations, government, medical, and educational facilities.
“The merger between TDS and ECS is quite significant as this will allow ECS to develop and grow an Advanced Systems division to focus on Enterprise Class clients including larger corporations, government and education,” said Jim Malsch, CEO of ECS. “While ECS already has a strong client base in the small and medium business space, the Advanced Systems division led by Ken will recommend, implement and support more complex solutions from Cisco, VMware and EMC.”
“I’m very excited about the merger between ECS and TDS as we will have the area’s top experts in Cisco, EMC, Dell, and VMWare all under one roof. We have in a way built an IT ‘dream team,’” said McCoy. “I look forward to showing our customers what our new team can do for them.”
