The Louisiana Technology Council, partnered with Louisiana Economic Development, is hosting the 9th annual Governor’s Technology Awards in Baton Rouge. The event will be a special luncheon on Wednesday, September 19th, 2012 at the L’Auberge Casino Hotel. The event will run from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Registration for the event is now open and available through the day of the event.
The event was created to, “recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of companies and individuals’ innovation and progress over the past year.” This is the follow up event to the eWARDS that took place in Shreveport, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans. Winners from each are now set to compete in the Governor’s Tech Awards.
Lieutenant Governor Jay Dardenne has been booked as the keynote speaker for the event. He is known for his tremendous support of Louisiana, specifically the need for funding for tourism advertising. Along with Dardenne, you can help support the regional eWARDS winners by becoming a table sponsor.
