Archon Information Systems, a progressive tax collection software and treasury management solution company, was recognized by Inc. Magazine’s list of the 5000 fastest growing companies. The New Orleans-based company has experienced a three year growth rate of 525%, placing them 681st out of 5,000 companies nationwide.
After seeing tremendous growth since the company’s founding in 2008, they now rank among other top businesses such as Yelp, Giftcards.com, and Chobani Yogurt on the Inc. list.
“We have been fortunate to find incredible team members dedicated to providing our customers with unparalleled service. They have been the key to our success,” said Archon’s co-founder and CTO, William Sossamon.
Archon’s technology has digitized the pre-sale process of properties, enabling an increase in collection revenues and an easier way to collect property taxes. The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s office recently used Archon’s online tax sale application product, CivicSource Auctioneer, and was able to collect 99.96% of the property tax revenue that was owed to them, according to local officials.
CivicSource is also available for tax authorities, bankers, and municipalities that want to auction liens and other properties solely online. Registration, browsing, bidding, and payment processing is all managed electronically by the company, making the entire online tax sale process much easier than in the past.
