Propeller is launching a new space in December for 100+ social entrepreneurs called the Propeller Social Innovation Incubator. The idea behind the space it that it will be a creative, inspirational, and collaborative space for the entrepreneurs, small businesses, and nonprofits.
Currently under construction, the 10,000 sq-foot, two-story space will include co-working desks all the way to private offices. More specifically, the facility will have 16 private offices, 16 open-area desks, 30+ coworking spaces, 2 conference rooms, a prototyping workshop, a kitchen, and off-street parking.
The Incubator is located at 4035 Washington Avenue and is part of a multi-building development project in the Broadmoor area. The construction will help restore the historic neighborhood back to its original glory where the buildings and businesses can benefit the community. Other businesses moving into the neighborhood include Green Coast Enterprises, Laurel Street Bakery, and South Broad Community Health Clinic.
Confirmed tenants include Rural Revolution, LifeCity, A.M.P.S., The Public Labratory for Open Technology and Science, Stand for Children Louisiana, Apex Creative, TouchPoint Marketing, and Graffagnini + Associates Law.
