IdeaMensch is a community of people who have set out to bring ideas to life, traveling to 50 venues across 48 states to do so. The IdeaMensch team cultivates interviews and profiles entrepreneurs across all walks of life, an idea that started because founder Mario Schulzke realized all of his heroes were, in fact, entrepreneurs.
Instead of the typical profile of a successful entrepreneur, they also include those just starting out, and many more from industries including technology, social media, marketing, and publishing. To date, IdeaMensch has published over 1,000 interviews in hopes to inspire and bring to life new ideas.
On Monday, October 15th, IdeaMensch is making a stop in New Orleans. Although our community of entrepreneurs in New Orleans is already fired up, the IdeaMensch goal is to bring that fire to all of the 48 cities chosen across the country on their four month road trip. The event will take place in the IP boardroom from 6:00 to 9:00 pm and will feature many of the entrepreneurs we already know in the Silicon Bayou, who will each spend ten minutes discussing their business ideas and how they were brought to life.
Speakers include:
- Jolie Bensen and Sarah Elizabeth Dewey, Co-Founders of Jolie and Elizabeth
- Nick Vivion,Co-Founder of Unicorn Booty
- Lisa Iacono,Founder of Nola Sewn
