Google for Entrepreneurs Supports Small Business Conference at UNO

An all day conference bringing together entrepreneurs, businesses, and financial institutions will take place tomorrow, November 8th, 2012 at the University of New Orleans. This year’s title of the Southeast Louisiana Small Business Conference is “Globalization, Planning and Strategies: Your GPS To Success.” Attendees will learn strategies for greater market access as well as valuable information for those using technological resources in business.

Topics range from tax saving information to social media marketing in hands on labs to traditional sessions. The conference will also have boot camps, technology zones, and important information from Google about the need for businesses to have websites and strong SEO.

The conference will be host to speakers Chris Genteel, Head of Diversity Markets at Google, Désirée H. Young, CEO of VentureWalk Business Partners, Phyllis Cassidy from Good Work Network, and Ashton J. Ryan, Jr. from First NBC Bank. It is sponsored by the Southeast Louisiana Alliance for Economic Inclusion (AEI), Google for Entrepreneurs, and hosted by Good Work Network.
