ReactWell Founder is One of 13 Accepted into Kauffman Global Scholars Program

Brandon Iglesias, Founder of ReactWell and tenant of the New Orleans BioInnovation Center announced his acceptance into the Kauffman Global Scholars Program on Tuesday. Beginning early next year, Iglesias will join 12 other engineering, science, and technology scholars and entrepreneurs for the six-month, world-class program.

“It’s a huge honor to be accepted into the Global Scholars Program, which I’m grateful to be part of,” said Iglesias. “This is a great opportunity to form the strategic partnerships needed to advance ReactWell’s technology into the marketplace.”

As part of the program, Iglesias will travel to Boston, Chicago, and Silicon Valley to build relationships and expand capabilities in addition to developing his technology for ReactWell. Since the beginning of this year, he has been working on the company which converts algae, coal, and natural gas into crude oil.
