Better Day HealthBetter Day™ Health has solidified its ranking as a top mobile health company after being chosen as one of fifteen to present yesterday at the mHealth Summit’s Mobile Venture Fair. The company showed off its latest web-based, patient-centered health management system, Better Day™ Health.

“Mobile technology is just beginning to transform healthcare delivery,” said Better Day™ Health CEO and Cofounder Peter Ragusa, “Using the Better Day™ platform, providers are able to automate documentation, saving time and removing the computer as a barrier during patient encounters, while providing their patients a secure way to participate in their own health using any modern Internet browser or iOS or Android-enabled smartphone or tablet.”

The Fair, held in Washington D.C., connected all fifteen emerging companies to potential investors interested in mHealth companies. Since 2007, the Summit has been uniting these two groups.“These groups need each other but may not know the best way to access each other,” said Deborah Caruso, senior manager for the Venture Fair.

Over 3,800 leaders in mobile health attended the Fair. Ragusa hopes to see the company gain momentum and attention beyond its Louisiana roots, saying, “We hope that this opportunity will increase national and even international interest from potential investors and partners.”
