Leslie Jacobs was an executive in the insurance industry for over twenty years and in her spare time, was heavily involved in public education. She began as a business partner to an elementary school, served as an elected member of the New Orleans School Board, and served a twelve year government appointed position on the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE).
