Peter Bodenheimer

We’ve referred to Peter previously as a behind-the-scenes guy who gets things done. His resume shows a man who quickly rose through the ranks of interactive marketing. Today he is a partner at FlatStack, a software development firm, an, “untitled collaborator” for Voodoo Ventures, and a partner and co-founder of Launch Pad Ignition. Peter Ragusa

Peter is one part of the duo behind mobile health companyBetter Day™ Health. Peter, MD, MPH is the CEO and Co-founder. He is a graduate of LSU, the University of Minnesota Medical School and the Yale School of Public Health. He has 10 years of startup, health policy, technology, and healthcare experience. Ralph Maurer

Ralph is the Executive Director of Levy-Rosenblum Institute for Entrepreneurship at Tulane in addition to his other positions at the university, which include working as a professor of the practice of strategy and entrepreneurship and the Executive Director of the Family Business Center. Rand Ragusa

Rand is the other half of the duo behind mobile health company VoiceHIT. He is the Senior VP of Business Development and Co-founder of the company. He has held senior executive roles with four Silicon Valley start-ups and has 14 years of technology and software sales, marketing, and business development experience. On LinkedIn.

Richard Montgomery

Richard Montgomery, a former attorney at Jones Walker, is a partner at VCE Capital Partners, LLC, a venture capital investment advisory firm with $36 million under management and offices in Shreveport, New Orleans and New York City. Mr. Montgomery runs the firm’s New Orleans office, is involved in the New Orleans BioInnovation Center and holds board positions at several local companies including NuMe Health. On LinkedIn.

Robbie Vitrano

Robbie Vitrano is a name frequently tossed around on the Silicon Bayou because he’s involved in numerous corners of it.  His claims to fame include his role as a co-founder of the Idea Village, a co-founder of Naked Pizza, Chairman of Trumpet, CEO of Trumpet Ventures, and a Board member of GNO, Inc. Ron Bienvenu

Ron Bienvenu is one of the Managing Partners at the Louisiana Buyout Fund, a private investment company interested in information technology companies. Bienvenu is also the CEO of alqemyiQ Corp and parent company Process Software, two of his companies which he moved to New Orleans earlier this year.   He has  acted as a principal in over 30 software company acquisitions. Venture Capital Fund Manager Ross Barrett is the Founder and General Partner at BVM, a company which focuses on expanding in the Southeast. Prior to that, he worked for over thirteen years and was Co-founder at VC Experts meanwhile serving as Director at both Calosyn Pharma and Esperance Pharmaceuticals. Sal LaMartina

Sal is one of the three co-founders of Cordina. The Cordina Mar-GO-Rita’s team saw an opportunity in alcoholic beverages and snagged it – the same way you can now snag their portable margarita and daiquiri drinks on supermarket shelves around the country.  Cordina regularly gives back to other aspiring entrepreneurs through their work with the Idea Village. On Twitter.

Sarah Elizabeth Dewey

Fashion startup extraordinaire had a simple idea– to make quality, southern-inspired clothes in the US. Along with Co-founder Jolie Bensen, the brand Jolie and Elizabeth was born. Prior to the launch of the company, both girls worked in fashion in New York. Sarah worked at BCBG Max Azria Group. On LinkedIn.

Scott Wolfe Jr.

Entrepreneur Scott Wolfe Jr. has been involved in many successful ventures to date. He was one of the founding members of the Wolfe Law Group and the founder of the Web Lab over a decade ago. Since then, he launched Zlien, a provider of Mechanic Lien and Preliminary Notice compliance and filing services. Zlien was accepted into the Idea Village’s IDEAxcelerator class for this year. Sean is the managing partner and VP of sales for BluReach, LLC, a creative web development and online marketing firm based in Baton Rouge. Sean is also a co-founder and board member of SeNSE and active in the Baton Rouge entrepreneurial scene.
